The owners were welcoming they made us feel at home, they were available to assist at any reasonable time, the house keeping lady is so humble and friendly, the rooms had all the basic kitchen essentials, bathroom as well had everything needed, the gardens were beautiful the property in general is tranquil, spotless clean room,clean swimming pools and we liked the bench facing the Jukskei river

Everything, the staff was friendly, the rooms were beautiful and clean, we got everything we needed, the pool was clean, we enjoyed quality time as a family and they ensured that we had the best time by giving us everything we needed.

Situated between the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site and Blair Atholl, Stornoway Lodge offers self catering accommodation. We recently enjoyed a most comfortable and pleasant stay at Stornoway Lodge on our visit to Lanseria. After a long and difficult set of flights we were warmly welcomed by a team of staff who could not do more to help us feel relaxed and cared for on our arrival. We had some issues via our booking agent, which were entirely out of the control of venue, but the reception team were extremely assitive in reaching a solution and is testament their professional attitude. I must make special mention of Kiki and Thabani whose attention to detail and focus on personal touch runs deep in the values of their team. The accommodation was clean, spacious and superbly comfortable. We needed extra attention for laundry and sundries that were quickly met and meant we could move at our leisure as we prepared for a wedding ceremony in the local area without a worry. Breakfast each morning at the Fat Olive restaurant was a favourite occasion. Each day we tried something different and the food was fresh and delicious with generous portions. Someone was always nearby to assist with an extra coffee or another rack of toast. All members of the restaurant team have our thanks as each of them made us feel personally catered for. Our daughter enjoyed the child play facilities and the small farm which were close by and well maintained. During our stay we received a superb recommendation from the reception team to visit the nearby Lion and Safari park and we booked a two hour guided tour during feeding time that same day. The whole family throughly enjoyed this and is a must visit if you have availability to do so. If re-visiting the area we wouldn't hesitate to book in and stay at Stornoway Lodge again.
