We rented all three rooms at the Inn on Lincoln Square and an adjoining townhouse to accomodate an extended family celebration by 12 adults. The rooms in the Inn were spacious, beautifully decorated for the season and very comfortable. The townhouse rooms were comfortable and the kitchen and living spaces on the first floor were welcoming and more than met our requirements. Interesting shopping, lively taverns and food choices from diner plates to pub grub were all within easy walking from our lodging.

A Sentimental Journey is situated in Gettysburg, 200 metres from Shriver House Museum, 200 metres from Jennie Wade House, as well as 300 metres from Gettysburg Museum of History. I stayed at Sentimental Journey for three nights and I will keep in my heart one of my best memories and travel experience. The place is magical, mysterious, warm and full of history, with a charming decoration. The hosts, Barbara and Steve, and their son Tom, make you feel like part of the house, always very attentive and ready to assist you in everything you need. I remember that I had a problem with the reservation and they did not hesitate to solve it immediately. The location of the hotel cannot be better, it has the best places to visit from an equidistant point, museums, restaurants, ice cream parlors, gas station, right in the heart of Gettysburg. The room were we satayed, has all the comfort and much more, good taste in decoration, practicality and takes you to another historical era, absolutely magical. The house also has its mystery and at night you can feel the presence of a ghost, which makes it unique. Perfect for families and people who use to stay on are super polite and friendly.
