I went to couple night markets, they were crowded, but I felt safe to walk around and people are friendly. I enjoyed food in the restaurants and breakfast for traditional food. The public transpotation is convenient.
We liked where we were staying because there was lots of places to eat and little stores to pick up things you might need.Easy to get around on foot to many attractions if you don't mind walking a little bit.
Clean and efficient public transportation around Taipei. Good for day trips out to Jiaoxi hotsprings and Kavalan. Also enjoyed the night markets at Raohe and Liaoning. Love the food and local feel. Enjoyed the Fish Market and super fresh sashimi. Good value.
Food, history, culture and natural beauty- a very good combination! Jiu fen old street, Chiang Kai Shek memorial Hall, Mt Xiangshan, National Palace Museum, Bei Tou Geothermal Valley, and Yangming Shan… also night market and Ximen Di, 101 …there are so many great places to visit and to shop 😊
We took a trip to Alishan for hiking and there are many hiking trails but we don’t have enough time, would go back again. People in Taipei are friendly and nice, they have many choices on restaurants and night markets, it’s fun and safe country for travelers, worry free. 👍👍👍
Taipei is a very interesting city to visit, with old and modern buildings, interesting museums and good food. The public transport is very good and very cheap. It is easy to do day trips out of the city. It is a very people friendly place, with lots of green spaces and lots of public toilets, and the rubbish trucks play music when they come to collect your rubbish.

The hotel and room were very clean and had cute decorations. Staff were very friendly and let me do check-in paperwork early when I came to drop off my luggage. Hot/cold water refill station, snacks, and toiletries were provided. Great location next to FamilyMart and 7-Eleven, close to multiple subway lines, and very convenient to get to TSA airport!
