Though we have stayed only 1 night for transit to Alishan, it was surprisingly a great hotel as i did not expect much. We arrived late at 11pm and the hotel receptionist is able to identify us quickly and give us all the details for breakfast and check in process was speedy and we are able to rest early. The breakfast comes with wide spread, lots of choices and selections. The room are large and spacious! Overall, it did exceed my expectation for the price paid for 1 night.

Boasting mountain views, Fu Courtyard Homestay features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge, around 2.5 km from Chialefu Night Market. Hostess was so friendly and hospitable. I really enjoyed chatting with her and appreciated the suggestions she made for sightseeing around town. The room was very clean, had its own private bathroom and air conditioner. Breakfast was awesome and saved me a lot of time and effort in the morning. The location is easily accessible by bicycle and has laundry facilities on-site if you ask. It's right on the edge of town, nestled among farm fields but a stone throw away from restaurants and shops. Night markets and retail shops are within walking distance as well.
