A good location for a relaxing stay in Pathiu, Win Gray Homestay Resort is a villa surrounded by views of the inner courtyard. Very good resort for it’s price, with free transfer to airport. And we got free small motorbike, because we need to go to restaurant. We are planning to rent the bike for 3 hours instead the young lady gave us for free. Good to stay for one day to two day if you’re going to Bangkok the next day.

great place and friendly locals and expats and found a great bar not to far away with great music and atmosphere and this was the 38 bar.very nice beaches and great food with many restaurants on the beach so great views
Pathiu have nice and peaceful beachs. Thung Wua Lan beach is one of my favourite beach in Thailand. it's beautiful and good for family trip. The highlight of Pathiu is scuba and snorkeling diving. The famous islands sight for diving are Koh Ran Pet and Ran Kai. There are wonderful sea anemone, whale shark and Bruda whale.
Actually it took me longer to get ther & cost more because of a misguided email from Booking.com “ Thank you for booked The Beach Resort & Residence . For any assistance , please contact us at 0654313005 . Transfer from the Chumphon pier to the hotel, you may buy the ticket at pier to be drop off at the hotel by minivan taxi. “ This information is NOT correct and I wasted time & money
We stayed for 5 nights. The beach is lovely with soft white sand. There were plenty of local restaurants close to the beach and also western food. There were only a few small shops. Transport into Chumphon costs 300 Thai baht by taxi. There is a really good weekend night market in Chumphon with a huge variety of freshly cooked food.
