Overlooking the Ume River, this eco-friendly hotel is within 5 minutes’ drive of Umeå city centre and airport. It offers free WiFi and sauna access and free parking. Location, room and facilities were excellent. We were particularly impressed with Ulf, who was on duty and who was very welcoming and very efficient and who made our stay a happy one.

Located next to Umeå University, Hotell Björken offers basic rooms with cable TV. Umeå Central Station is a 5-minute drive away and Umeå Airport is an 8-minute drive from the hotel. The lobby of the hotel has a lovely design. And it makes you feel very cozy. A very big thank you to the lady from the staff who was happy to help me with my parking issues 10 stars. And I recommend you reward him.

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. We stayed at the Annexet appartment and it was a fantastic stay. Very spacious, clean, with fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety. The staff was helpful and polite. City center is within walking distance and bus stops are at convenient distance, too.

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. Great location. The room was small but cozy and the view was stunning. For breakfast, expected more vegan options, but big + that they had vegan waffles so I gave them big 10/10.

Marvellous, unique hotel in the heart of the city. The stylish interior design is meticuously crafted in a historic building. The staff was extemely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was exceptional in a nice, covered courtyard.
