They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable The location is ideal for me because I had my fiancé hospitalized in the hospital in front of the hotel. Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. Historical and very unique! Staff are very nice and helpful.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. Good location, good staff. We had barking dog in other room, so after mentioning this at reception we got a free change to an upgraded room type. Thank you!

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. The breakfast was phenomenal! The staff was very accommodating, working with us to offer the best experience possible. They had a sauna that opened at 3pm, but if we wanted to use it a bit earlier, they offered to start it up a bit earlier. The location was perfect, right close to downtown, but also not right in the thick of it. Highly recommend!

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. The room had an iron and iron table which came in handy.
