This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall. The staff were so friendly and really made us welcome, especially with the little extras like a kettle and sorting our bed. Our room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable

This quiet hotel lies by Lake Vänern, just 5 minutes’ drive from Vänersborg city centre. It has a gym and spa and offers free Wi-Fi, pool and sauna access. I really enjoyed the view and the water pressure. I'm a stickler for the water pressure.

This hotel is on Strömsberg Hill, 10 minutes’ walk from Trollhättan’s main street, Storgatan. It offers fine dining and rooms with terraces overlooking the courtyard, garden or Göta Älv river. Friendly staff. E.g. they opened the breakfast for us hour before their weekend schedule because we had to leave early to catch ferry from Stockholm. Really helpful and nice to communicate with.
