Calm and friendly hotel. Very nice staff. Good food. Comfortable beds in a big room. Near the railwaystation.

Dating back to the 14th century, Ronnum Herrgård is housed in a manor at the southern point of Lake Vänern. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. This was the property that we were most looking forward to during our visit to Sweden. We were not disappointed. The room was large and comfortable, with the separate bathroom and an added bonus of a sauna. We loved the vintage feel and the history of the place. Breakfast was an excellent spread, catering for all tastes. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our meal in the restaurant was exceptional. Free parking on site. We spent 3 days exploring the Halle-Hunneberg area. A very special experience.

This hotel is situated on Trollhättan's main shopping street, Kungsgatan. Homemade biscuits and treats are offered for free in the afternoon with tea/coffee. Really helpful staff. Lovely homemade cakes.

Offering a garden and garden view, Trollhättans Bed and Breakfast is set in Trollhättan, less than 1 km from Trollhättan railwaystation and 14 km from Vänersborg Train Station. The studio is very nice and cozy with a big comfortable double bed and small kitchen equipped with all you may need, spatious bathroom and balcony. The owner provided parking in the property and allowed to use washing machine that was on the other floor of the property. Rich breakfast of local food that was left in the fridge for self-service. Easy self check in-check out. Property in 5 min. walk from the center of the town. Great stay! Highly recommended. Thank you, Owner!

This hotel is conveniently located right in the centre of Trollhättan and offers a complimentary buffet breakfast. Saab Car Museum is 1.6 km away. From arriving to the hotel after losing my purse on the plane to leaving the staff went above and beyond to help me whilst I sorted out paying them due to not having any bank cards which were in my lost purse they let me stay until my money transfer went through. They were always helpful at reception and always had a smile whenever I entered reception. The breakfast was fine and catered for everyone and the staff at breakfast were amazing. The cleaners were amazing too. Anything I needed help with everyone went above and beyond to help me. I couldn't ask for a better stay and can't wait to come back next year.

This property is beautifully located in the centre of Trollhättan, by the canal waterfront. Scandic Swania was built in the early 1900s as a city hall. The staff was great and accommodating, very friendly team during breakfast. Efficient help. My room was located on the south east corner of the building which made it perfect for air circulation. Very clean. Could have had a deeper cleaning when the room was serviced, but not bad.

This quiet hotel lies by Lake Vänern, just 5 minutes’ drive from Vänersborg city centre. It has a gym and spa and offers free Wi-Fi, pool and sauna access. I really enjoyed the view and the water pressure. I'm a stickler for the water pressure.

This hotel is on Strömsberg Hill, 10 minutes’ walk from Trollhättan’s main street, Storgatan. It offers fine dining and rooms with terraces overlooking the courtyard, garden or Göta Älv river. Friendly staff. E.g. they opened the breakfast for us hour before their weekend schedule because we had to leave early to catch ferry from Stockholm. Really helpful and nice to communicate with.
