The chef and his very capable staff were able to serve a lovely dinner for 14 on very short notice. And then there is the Nature: the never ending daylight, the sound of the forever running ancient river, the wildflowers by the road that grow before your very eyes, the placid reindeer who are totally indifferent to your presence...

The cabin was clearly built with enthusiasm. It was a unique opportunity to use the spring-fed cold-plunge. The property owners have put together some informational videos that are helpful for using the facilities.

Featuring a garden and views of lake, Lapland Old School is a recently renovated guest house located in Muonio, 31 km from Kolari Train Station. This is an awesome place, so interesting and inviting, big comfy beds, pleasant caring owner, and the breakfast was the cherry on the top of the cake! Definitely will come back.
