STF Hemavans Fjällcenter is 250 metres Hemavan Tärnaby Airport. Facilities include an on-site sauna in which guests can relax. Guests can choose accommodation with either a private or shared bathroom.... I booked a room for my elderly relatives who were traveling on their own and needed assistence since they do not speak Swedish and have limited knowledge of English. They were received with the best service by kind and considerate personel who did the very best to make them feel welcome and comfortable. The room was very cozy and clean, they enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast was tasty. I've been in touch with the facility both in writing and on the phone and the communication has been great with quick and helpful replies, providing optimal solutions for the slightly special requests I've had.

Hemavans Wärdshus has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Hemavan. Among the various facilities are a bar and ski storage space. Very nice place to stay. Sauna is amazing and the whole place is beautiful and cozy. Excellent breakfast (quality of food as well as presentation). Not to forget the staff - friendly, polite, makes you feel at home.

Nice cozy place, close to the road, easy to find, plenty of space for parking and beautiful view to the mountains. We booked the room for 3 persons and got the one where even 6 people can stay, so there was plenty of space. Good rooms, furniture, cozy rooms and you can find all you need for cooking and preparing food in the kitchen. Have no complains as it exceeded our expectations! And very pleasant staff!

Now, early June, it was desolate, with the advantage of having a large kitchen and common balcony almost entirely to ourselves. A COOP store was close by. This aspect should perhaps be added to descriptions of accommodations in Northern Scandinavia as this then tells one to stock up in time.
