We loved the Artist's House in Wanaka. The host, Sonia, was absolutely amazing. Each room is fully private with a shared kitchen, living area, bathroom, and outdoor space. The best part is that the art in the house is all Sonia's! She was so welcoming, showing us around and how everything worked when we set up and she even came over the morning to make us a flat white! The room was very comfortable and well appointed. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the swimming hole in the river that runs behind her property or make pizza in her outdoor pizza oven (ingredients and instructions are provided).

The hosts were so lovely and made us feel very comfortable. The view and property is stunning and is the perfect place to stay for a short stay in Wanaka. We loved our time there.
