We especially liked the sitting room area with the tv and that we could stream Netflix. It was really warm inside and felt like our own home for the night. We liked how we were allowed to use the kitchen facilities and the multiple bathrooms. Rooms were nice and clean with comfy beds and nice mink-like blankets.

Situated 11 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea in Halcombe, Scottbase B and B features free WiFi access and free private parking. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Brenda and Gavin were the perfect hosts - and we had many great conversations. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Our hosts gave helpful travel suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights there.
