This central Kirkenes hotel is on the shore of Bøkfjorden, 900 metres from Hurtigruten Ferry Terminal. It offers free Wi-Fi and an à la carte restaurant with a seasonal menu. We had a room over looking the water and saw the most beautiful northern lights!!! Dinner and breakfast were outstanding with an emphasis on local cuisine! The staff at the desk and in the restaurant were top notch!

I'm so grateful that Barent's Hotel exists, was located in the area it was in, had availability, had blackout curtains and a super comfy bed. I was in the area and hadn't expected to spend the night but after being awake for 25 hours, I needed to get to sleep ASAP! I had the best sleep of my life on my trip to the nordics in this hotel - and I was able to check in right after booking through booking.com. So grateful

The host was just idling around the place waiting for me to arrive. The "expected time of arrival" of Booking.com really helps in these cases. STAFF: friendly and nice, took some time to explain the feature of the place WIFI/VPN: works SIZE: it's a small one-room apartment with a large window facing north. So perfect if it happens to be in this area and wants to experience the midnight Sun in your pajama. There is also a small patio where to sit outside if you wish. CLEAN: yes indeed BATHROOM: clean larger and modern QUIET: the place is very quiet, but the host lives upstairs with his family and you can easily hear their steps. The wooden structure hasn't a great sound proof. Services/Restaurants/Attractions around: didn't check, but the small village downtown is in a walking distance. I just want to mention the real VALUE FOR THE MONEY this place is. Ok, perhaps a little bit out of the usual route, but it lacks nothing, really.
