Etango Ranch Guest Farm is situated just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. Nice property that is super close to the airport. We came late so didn't have dinner but staff were super helpful with our needs, including a car drop off and airport transfers. Be careful for wildlife at night!!! We almost hit a Greater Oryx who jumped in front of our car.

We could only stay for one night but I would recommend a 2 night stay to experience it properly.

Located in Ondekaremba, a 1-hour drive from Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda provides accommodation set within a 9000-hectare private wildlife reserve. Excellent location close to the airport . Very friendly staff Naomi and Andy organised everything to our outmost satisfaction. We will return!

Excellent stay in a sanctuary close to the airport and Windhoek. If you want to spend the first night or last night close to Windhoek, this is a great option. I would suggest to stay at least two nights to have time to participate in the various wildlife activities they offer on the premises. Corne met us with welcome drinks at the reception and gave us all the necessary information we needed for our stay. He and the rest of the staff have been very helpful and responsive. If you read my review you probably have read as well some other recent reviews, as I did and I almost cancelled my stay here. I'm so glad I didn't, because we had a wonderful stay, one night was just too short. The recent very negative reviews definitely don't do justice to this great place that has been created with a much deeper reason than just being a lodge. Don't expect a luxury lodge at the top end, but that is not what you are paying anyway. The cost is totally justified for what you get. We stayed in chalet number one, very convenient next to the main building with the restaurant, reception and common reading area. Our room was super clean and nothing was missing, everything well stocked, towels, coffee, tea and minibar. There are definitely no rats in the room, my guess is that some guests might have mistaken the rock hyrax for rats. It could happen if you leave the sliding windows to the deck open that some curious animals enter your room, the instructions to always close the doors is clearly marked, even baboons could enter and they could really mess around. But aren't the animals one of the reason why we come to visit Namibia? Just don't let them enter your room. We had a wonderful sunset horse ride which Cindy, the caretaker of the horses. She is very calm and did a wonderful job and her colleague prepared us a sundowner for our last sunset in Namibia out in the wilderness, amazing! The 4 course diner was delicious and so was the breakfast!

I really like this place! Things work, nice big rooms, decent sized swimming pool, a very welcoming owner and great food!

Murangi Travel Lodge offers accommodation in Windhoek. The property has an outdoor pool and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Magdalena is the most hospitable host - so lovely She even supported us in Holding a barbecue with our family and friends in the beautiful lodge site 😍 Thank you so much 😊

Set on a privat nature reserve outside of Windhoek, Onjala features outdoor activities like nature drives, bush walks and stargazing. All food provided was excellent. The pools were inviting and cooled your body as we did not have air-conditioning in our room. Staff were very helpful.
