Just sorry we were only there 1 night. Ideal accommodation to get down to Victoria Resevoir for the seaplane or if you are a golfer. Lovely gardens with a very clean swimming pool, steam and sauna and also a jacuzzi. Location, room, food and all those we interacted with on site were exceptional. We were well looked after by the chefs Mr Anoora and Mr Benidict and also by barman/waiter Ayesh.

Offering an outdoor pool and barbeque facility by the lake, Serendib Signature Resort is located in Digana in the Kandy District Region, 30 minutes drive from Kandy and Temple of the Tooth Relic. The staff were great and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They interacted well with our children and took some time to play with them. The MD even loaned me his clubs to play golf with. It’s a short distance to the Victoria Golf Resort and the staff arranged transport to take us there for a round. The buffet was great and there was lots of food.

Villa Merak, Digana provides accommodation within 6.1 km of the centre of Digana, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with an oven, a fridge and a stovetop. Excellent Villa. Staff the best I encountered in SL. The three lads including the chef were beyond excellent. Hoppers served for breakfast was simply to die for. Food was excellent. Ask for local food and you get served a veritable delicious feast
