The location is excellent, within 2 minutes walk of Jinju Castle/Fortress. The price was great too. Unlike many cheaper Korean hotels this place was not even slightly sleazy…. Christian quotes everywhere, very wholesome. Well thought out wall art in the corridors and rooms. Room was comfortable with clean and well provisioned bathroom. The owner was friendly and open to talking about late checkout (I was running the Jinju marathon and wanted to shower after)

Hotel well located near the river, for the festival. But a little bit too far from downtown. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Free Sauna available.

Golden Tulip Essential Namgang ligt in Jinju, op 25 km van Gyeongnam Arboretum en 32 km van Dosan Confucian Academy. Beautiful views of the river and city. Lovely stay during the Namgang Lantern festival. Staff at the rooftop restraunt were very friendly and welcoming.
