Located in Matsushige, within 10 km of Tokushima Station and 9.4 km of Reizanji temple, Hotel Route Inn Tokushima Airport -Matsushige Smartinter- provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi... I liked that it had a parking lot, it was near the airport, and still in the city so that I could see Awa Odori. I liked that it has breakfast and Onsen. I also liked how friendly the staff was and how accommodating they were during Awa Odori.

Hotel Taiheiyo is located in Matsushige, a 15-minute walk from Tokushima Matsushige Tokutoku Highway Bus Terminal and a 20-minute drive from JR Tokushima Train Station. We had a very big room for two nights after finishing the Shikoku pilgrimage. We could take a god rest before turning back to Germany. The breakfast also was very good!

Restay Tokushima Aine (Adult Only) is located in Tokushima, within 7.3 km of Tokushima Station and 7.7 km of Awa-Odori Community Hall. Room service! I haven't had room service since coming to japan. I ordered from the TV and the food was yummy. Plus, the size of the room. Again, in Japan I have only had super tiny coffin sized rooms. A good size room was so nice.

Tokushima - house / Vacation STAY 573 is located in Tokushima. Featuring free private parking, the 2-star holiday home is 1.5 km from Tokushima Station. Beautiful Japanese-style house on two floors with free parking space and available e-bicycles. The entire house was furnished with style with attention to all small details. Air conditioning and air purifiers were available in all rooms and perfectly functional. The sleeping room upstairs was comfortable and equipped with large TV (+ air conditioning and air purifiers). Beautiful small garden in Japanese style visible from the main room downstairs and illuminated in the evening. The kitchen was furnished with all sorts of items for cooking and breakfast, including fresh food in the fridge for breakfast and fresh coffee and coffee grinders and snacks. The bathroom was equipped with several towels and amenities as in 5-star hotel. The house is a located ina quiet residential neighbourhood, a bit outside the main city center, but easily accessible by public transportation. In addition, there were two electric bicycles available (we didn't use them). 24-hour convenience store was 4 minutes away by foot. The owner provided all the information required well ahead of arrival and was super-kind and fast in replying to our messages. We would definitely book again this house when in Tokushima, and would even consider it as a destination on its own.

Set in Tokushima, near Tokushima Station and Sako Station, Vacation house月yue is a recently renovated property, featuring, free bikes and garden. Well stocked for our 6-night stay including whole coffee beans, all sorts of teas including matcha, cereal, lettuce, local tomatoes, eggs, cotton pajamas, robes, towels, tissue, etc. When we enquired one evening about getting additional local sake for our extended stay, a thoughtful selection was delivered the next afternoon. We appreciated having proper Riedel glasses for the sake. Replies were always prompt and helpful with suggestions and directions. The washing machine was very handy. Effective and thorough instructions provided on how to operate appliances, fans, lights. We also got a referral for an interpreter/guide who was a great help for our visit. If we have a chance to return to Tokushima, we would not hesitate to stay at Yue! Outstanding!
