Island Inn Rishiri features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 27 km of Mt. Rishiri and 400 metres of Kutsugata Harbor. Exceptional service from the staff. Upon arrival the hotel arranged pick up from the airport - if you’re coming by ferry, it is probably not necessary as they’re directly next door (very convenient). I also appreciated the information on climbing Mt Rishiri from the very helpful lady at front desk (who also spoke fluent English). She gave us helpful tips and even arranged a bento breakfast for us to take to the mountain. The hotel arranged the transport both to and from the trailhead as well.

Walking distance from the main train station and a bus stop just a few walks away. An onsen was nearby, and wild deer could be spotted around the neighborhood as well. Oh, they're not proficient in English but will try their best to convey their messages to you.
