Included access to laundry machine, free items in the fridge, general access to the whole house were great to have. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Wished I could have stayed another day to enjoy the cafe and watch the sunset when it wasn't cloudy.

The staff were all friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. All helped me with my lack of Japanese language skills. The rooms appear basic but they are stylish in an understated way but are very well thought out and comfortable. The restaurant was truly excellent with creative food with local and global influences. I think that the food was amongst the best I have had on this 10 day trip. The spa area was stylish and modern. Very nice. I will visit again.

Also, since it's the cheapest place in Masuda, it's the best place to stay if you're on a budget. The complimentary breakfast is great and the staff is wonderful. I accidentally overslept past the check-out time and the staff were very kind about it. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they are very clean and well-kept. There is also a bowling alley, karaoke, and a movie theater in the same building. Only about a 10 minute walk from Masuda Station. I highly recommend staying here.
