It was exceptionally clean, with a sweet scent as soon as you enter the building. It is modern with easy access. Monica was a delightful host who assisted us booking a taxi for very early in the morning, suggestions on where to eat etc. The towels were plentiful and fluffy and the beds were so so comfortable. The house is easily accessible, parking in the yard. The rooms were clean, the breakfast is provided downstairs, it's a self-service, toast, biscuits, croissants, marmalade, butter, tea, different types of juice, water; coffee from a vending machine. You just leave the key in the basket provided at checkout.
Monfalcone is not the most touristic place to be. we were there for a regatta so we visited, the sailclub/marina! we visited Slovenia (the caves) visited Trieste, Udine, Grado,... Monfalcone was fine, and a good place to start these visits. I like the authenticity and it not being touristic,
