Kaupunki oli viihtyisä ja kiva sekoitus Italiaa ja Alppeja. Iltaisin tunnelmallinen pieni keskusta ja maittavat focacciat. Vaellusreittien opasteet olivat puutteelliset. Merkittyjen reittien merkkejä oli liian harvassa ja ne sekoittuivat helposti keskenään. Hyvät yhteydet Italian eri Alppi-vuorille. Chamonix oli ikävästi kalliin tunnelireitin päässä. Kiertotietä käyttämällä hieno mutta aikaavievä reitti. Kannattaa jo aamulla varmistaa sään mukaan, pääseekö vuorille nousemaan esimerkiksi Skywaylla. Matterhorn upea vuoritausta Cerviniassa.
Ihana, rauhallinen pikkukaupunki keskellä Alppeja, josta löytyy läheltä upeat ulkoilureitistöt, sekä monipuoliset palvelut, ravintolat ja liikkeet. Ravintoloista löytyi myös gluteenittomille vaihtoehtoja. Mitään en jättäisi väliin.
