Agriturismo La Genziana is located on a working farm with animals, 5 km outside Fertilia. This property features a restaurant, garden with BBQ facilities and children’s playground. We had a delayed flight and needed a place to sleep near the Alghero airport. The staff was very helpful, they left us the instructions for self check in after midnight and the next day they offered to drive my husbund back to the airoport to pick a rent a car.

I rarely write reviews, but I really liked this landlord. The house was clean and tidy and spacious. Although we had to use a translator to communicate with each other because of the language barrier, the landlord was very patient and kind. All in all, if you want to stay near the airport, this is really a great choice!

Located 2 km from Alghero Airport, Agriturismo Barbagia offers a restaurant, garden and accommodation with air-conditioning. This working farm produces cheeses, oils and honey. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Agriturismo Barbagia, and Paola was a friendly, helpful and charming host! The location is conveniently located a short car ride from the Alghero Airport, several restaurants and a small but well-stocked grocery store. Breakfast was centered on traditional Sardinian possibilities, including yogurt and several cheeses made from the farms's own sheep's milk, and seasonal fruit and juice. Pastries and muffins were homemade as were several jams and jellies. Sardinian cracker bread, called pane di musica, was always served. Lattes and cappucinos were perfect. Although dinners were only available on the weekend during our off-season visit, we were able to enjoy a 7-course meal based on Sardinian dishes and the local (and famous) Cannonau wine. We appreciated being 20 minutes from central Alghero, one of our favorite cities in Sardinia. We loved exploring this region from the Agriturismo Barbagia.

Manuela and Angelo are super friendly and focused on details :) We loved that they have only 6 rooms, so you feel more like in a home :) I loved what Manuela said at the beginning "My house is your house" :) Everything was super clean, me and my husband loved the hardness of bed mattress (we don´t like soft mattresses). Breakfast prepared by Angelo were so delicious and everyday they prepared something different, so you can try various food :) You definately should try their 4 course dinner (we had a fish dinner and it was really really good :) We should not forget on their friendly dog Rufus
