Bathrooms are small but cleverly structured and were ok to use.

The location was beautiful, the staff were friendly (special thanks to Emma who was our horse riding guide). Extremely good value for money, was surprised we had the whole place to ourselves. Kitchen was modern and nice. Beds were comfy and the place was clean.

Every inch of design and craftsmanship could be seen inside. Absolutely fantastic technology knowledge, from wireless extenders to the set top box and sound bar were very welcome and appreciated. Extremely clean and well stocked with everything needed.

Situated in the old centre of Saudárkrókur, 550 Guesthouse offers free parking and rooms with a TV and free Wi-Fi access. Saudárkrókur Public Swimming Pool is a 5-minute walk away. We got the room in the top floor(2nd) and loved the views from there. It was so close to the beach in that town. Loved that quaint town. The kitchen facilities were great and the bathrooms were neat and clean. The only issue could be tall travellers may not prefer the top floor as the ceiling is a slanted roof. This means you may hit your head in the room if you aren't conscious. Happened to me :) Definitely not injurious though.

Situated in the northern Iceland coastal village of Saudárkrókur, this property is 90 minutes’ drive from central Akureyri. It offers free Wi-Fi, an on-site bar and an outdoor geothermal hot tub. This is an annexe attached to the oldest hotel in town. We had the biggest room and a view as well. There was heaps of space for our bags and cold weather gear. (We had a lot) Breakfast was very good, in a basement dining room that was decorated with heaps of memorabillia. There was a private natural hot spring in the grounds that was nice and hot. Staff were lovely and did our washing for us.

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Steinn Farm Private Apartment is set in Sauðárkrókur in the North Iceland Region. The apartment has a panoramic view over the fjord. We were arriving in very snowy conditions in the winter and the host cleaned the road for us. In general very hospitable persons, we made a tour to their sheep farm and our kids played around with a dog. House is very clean and location is fantastic overseeing directly the ocean.
