Hazelbrook Guesthouse is located outside the CBD and a 20-25 minute walk, so the car was handy. Parking is onsite, but to park in the city was a bit risky. We were fortunate to find a park on two occasions. Our room was very quiet and nicely appointed and our beds were very comfortable. We had a kettle with tea and coffee + hair dryer and TV. A continental breakfast served. Noyle our host answered our messages/calls promptly.

Very easy to communicate and very helpful !! He let me check out late and leave my backpack in the property, and retrieve it later, very convenient for a solo visitor. The room was bright and clean.

Sitting on the banks of the River Suir, the Waterford Marina Hotel is 300 metres from Waterford Crystal. It offers a riverside restaurant, rooms with free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking. This is a lovely hotel right on the river and a short walk to the center. My room overlooked the river. Free parking. A nice pub is attached to the hotel. I would have gladly stayed longer if my itinerary allowed.
