We missed our flight and we were desperate to find somewhere to sleep. Everything went smoothly, we got our access code via e-mail, the accomodation was clean and very well equipped. After checking in my online virtual area was created, where I could find everything: shops, pharmacies, gas stations with opening hours and direct link to google map. Just imagine how useful it is when you are stressed and lost in a city as big as Athens. Bonus was unlimited access to Netflix, I only had to change proper language.

It is a nice apartment with everything you need. Elpida is very kind and make our checkin and checkout very easy. She also responded question quickly. It is about 10 minutes driving from the airport and Elpida also helped us with airport transfer. She is a perfect host. Because we didn't go for sightseeing, I really don't know how to go from here to Acropolis area.

Epämääräinen etukäteistieto sijainnista, osoitetta ei saatu kuin kyrillisillä kirjaimilla. Ei ollut etukäteistietoa siitä, että kyseessä oli yksityisen majoitus. Isäntä lupasi huolehtia meille taksin klo 4, jotta ehdimme lentokentälle ajoissa. Taksia ei tullut, isännän ilmoittama puhelinnumero ei toiminut eikä meillä ollut osoitetta, mihin taksia tilata. Paikka oli syrjäinen asuinalue tien päässä.
Pieni paikka ja hankala mennä, erityisesti jos ei ole autoa käytössä. Ympäristö ei tarjonnut paljoakaan virikkeitä, joten hotellin omasta ympäristöstä olisi pitänyt pitää juuri tästä syystä parempaa huolta. Kävimme kävelemässä meren rantaa pitkin Artemidan suuntaan, joka ei ollut hirveän helppo reitiltään (hieman suttuistakin, valitettavasti). Lisäksi kävimme vieressä sijaitsevassa Brauronin arkeologisessa museossa, joka menetteli (n. 1-1.5 tunnin vierailu riittänee). Vravrona ympäristönä siis lievä pettymys. Onneksi autolla pääsimme liikkumaan esim. Pórto Ráftiin, joka oli huomattavasti kivempi paikka ravintoloineen ja merimaisemineen, n. 25 min. ajomatkan päässä Gialoussa sijaitsevaan Attikan eläinpuistoon ja Ateenan Designer Outletiin sekä Ateenaankin päiväretkelle.
