We arrived early and was pleasantly surprised that the owner came to meet us within 10 minutes for an early check-in. Lovely location and easy to get to pretty much anywhere. Lots of lovely places to eat and evening entertainment with a very short walk back to the apartment. We will definitely book here again on our next visit to Gibraltar. 10/10

The communication was excellent and reassuring. We were able to arrive, change and head out. The ease of use of the properties facilities was also really good. Everything was clean and tidy. The property’s location was perfect too, shops bars and busses just on the doorstep.

Urban Oasis at Luxurious Ocean Village features a balcony and is set in Gibraltar, within just 1.5 km of Eastern Beach and 1.1 km of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Excellent location. Perfect for Ocean Village, casrmates and accessing the Rock. Communication with James was quick and easy. Well furnished apartment with everything you could need and a balcony facing the castle and the airport. Other facilities were great, particularly the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Gibraltar

We wanted to visit Gibraltar but decided to stay in La Linea de la Concencion as it was easy to get there - and this was the best decision:). Very nice and cute town, much quiter, better food and with better value for money than in Gibraltar:)
I stayed three nights (including New Year when most things were closed) and had a ball. Walked 25000 steps each day and did it all except for the Mediterranean Steps (not sure my 62 year old legs would have enjoyed them) and there are easier ways to enjoy a view. I recommend buying an all day Hopper tickets and get on busses 2 and 8 to get a good idea of where you are. It's also an easy way to visit Europa Point, Jews Gate (for Martin's Path which I really enjoyed) and getting around to the East side. When on top of the Rock (the Cable Car I found helpful but dirty and uncleaned including in the cafe toilets where the bins were overflowing at 10am) I recommended you start at the spectacular St Michael's Cave and work your way north ending with the Moorish Castle. Even though I had a return ticket I just walked down steps to get into town.
The place is to small iam six foot kept banging my head of the ceiling u nead to be small the whole place to small it's not worth the value the only view u have is locol people's flats no views what so ever value for money not a hope
Our host told us that Gibraltar was expensive to eat out in, and he always crossed the border into Spain to eat out, we wished we had taken his advice. We didn't have a nice meal out in Gibraltar, maybe we picked the wrong places, of course. Climbing the rock is a must, but one of the other highlights is being able to walk across the airport runway when you enter or leave Gibraltar.
We didn't explore the area on the Spanish side of the border but did have a great time in Gibraltar. If you do go to Gibraltar I would recommend doing on the taxi tours up the rock to all the sights and where the Apes are. Once you have done that you can walk back down into the town and explore that area too. It saves a lot of walking and the commentary is great to get some history and background of Gibraltar.
Pleenty to do and see. Bit pricey, all Govt faciltes seem to cost £25.00 per person. Superb bus system with advantageous "day hopper" ticket at £6.00 pp. for a fukll days travel on as many trips you loud wish to take.
