Hosts was excellent. Communication was always very prompt during our lovely 3 nights stay. House was impeccable, clean and had everything you need for a short stay. Just remember to bring your own soap and shampoo. We didn't know but luckily a supermarket was opened. Had 3 wonderful night of sleep in a peaceful neighbourhood and a comfy bed.

Set next to La Scie River, this 19th-Century guest house is just a 5-minute drive from Dieppe Museum and Castle. It has a large garden filled with exotic plants. Amazing! We arrived to a very warm welcome into a beautiful foyer. Room was very spacious, big comfortable bed, and a spacious fully equipped/supplied bathroom. We arrived hungry on a Sunday (not a lot open) but James was very well organized for restaurants that would be open. Breakfast was great with a lot of variety and we took the opportunity to chat with James and other guests. Very very friendly. James also helped organize our activities and drive for the day so we would get the most out of our time. Would definitely stay again!

In summary, my two-day stay at this lovely property just outside of Dieppe, France, was an absolute delight. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful retreat. Hôtel Initial by balladins Dieppe is located 3 km from St Aubin sur Scie and the centre of Dieppe and it is a 10-minute drive from the Dieppe Beach. Messaged the manager to say ground floor, Dog coming , late arrival, is there parking available and breakfast please. We had a prompt reply, all affirmative. It worked like clockwork

I had booked online needing a bed for the night before boarding the ferry Golden Tulip seemed a new name so went with it. Everything was Great including breakfast. We would have used the restaurant for evening meal but arrived late lunchtime in Dieppe and so had a good lunch at Le Selier au Sel just at the roundabout nearby Also Excellent!
