The shower facilities literally next-door were ideal. Everything was close at hand. The location is peaceful. The view of the lake from the front door idyllic. Siina gave me clear instructions regarding public transport from Tampere railway station to Pirkkala town centre. She picked me up at the bus terminus. She also drove me to the airport well ahead of my flight.

We we're here for the second time and liked it again very much. We got upgraded to the more modern rooms which are really comfy and nice. We love the spa area and kids were super happy there. The hotel had also renovated much of the spa so all looked very clean and new. Nice surprise was a welcome gift to our dog with all kinds of little things for him to enjoy.

Situated in Tampere, Scandic Tampere City is just across the street from the Central Station. All rooms include a TV, minibar and free Wi-Fi. Tampere Museum is 500 metres away. I liked the full breakfast! I love the location. I would rebook for that hotel again.
