One of the highlights of our stay was the lakeside location, complete with a free boat for guests to use. This added an extra touch of adventure and relaxation to our trip, allowing us to explore the lake at our leisure. The surroundings were picturesque, with lush greenery and a tranquil setting that provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We were also impressed with how well-maintained and clean the property was. The hosts clearly take great pride in their B&B, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The natural beauty of Savonlinna was on full display, and staying at B&B Lomamokkila allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in this beautiful region.

Situated just a few steps from Savonlinna Train Station, Wanhan Aseman Majatalo provides accommodation in Savonlinna with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a shared kitchen. Cute b&b, which used to be an old train station. We had room 1, which was very large with A/C. Dog friendly place. Great breakfast . We stayed here during the opera festival and their room rates were excellent compared to hotels. Took a bicycle taxi to the castle and it was about 10 minute ride away.
