Though there we heard other guests, we didn't really see them as we had our own private dock and rowboat, as well as barbeque area. It was about a 45 minute drive to the national park for hiking, and the cabin was cozy with blackout curtains to help with sleep and screens on the windows to keep the inside mosquito-free.

Brilliant location with only one other cottage nearby., easy to find with good directions. I combined my work trip with pleasure. Only an easy 10 minute drive to the centre. On the edge of a frozen lake, very peaceful. There was everything provided to make the stay very comfortable. Nice little touches such as blankets & knitting basket added to the experience. Beds were comfortable, we didn’t use the sauna so can’t comment on that. All in all highly recommended and would love to stay in the summertime
