Amazing location, right next door to a beautiful restaurant 'Tatapas Gastroteka' which turned out to be our favourite of the trip and we revisited frequently. A short walk to so many great restaurants and bars in the surrounding picturesque streets, but also the eateries on the bustling high street. Honestly, just amazing food and drink every way you turn! Enjoyable easy 30 min stroll to the beach and 5 mins to supermarket and buses for further afield travel. The beach was so pleasant, clean (in fact everywhere was so clean) and stress free with some cracking waves. The apartment itself is perfect, with enough in the kitchen to prep the occasional meal from home- and Netflix was a nice home comfort. Great shower. Cute little balcony over the square so you feel part of the hubbub, with perfect view to spot a free table in the restaurants below... :) Also strongly recommend a hike to the vineyards. What a great holiday! Thank you. Restaurant recommendations: Tatapas Gastroteka, Mika, Alameda, Asador Sutan, Hontza Cocktail Bar, Bar Conchita and really wish we could have tried Gastroteka Danontzat, but it was fully booked! The area was wonderful but the windows open out right onto the street level and anyone can crawl into your flat at any time. No air conditioning so we wanted to sleep with windows open but then would get complete strangers looking into our room. A LOT

Every part of this hotel is exceptional and beautiful. The staff are charming and helpful. The hotel is fully renovated in art deco elegance. The room was huge with a full length balcony, enormous bathroom, beautiful toiletries and a wonderful bed. If you visit Hondarribia you must stay here - it is 7 star
