We were driving from Sweden to Chamonix and needed an overnight stay. Everything was fantastic! Super clean. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Floor heating. It was perfect. Bakery and bistro a few mins walk from the hotel. Manager gave us doggo treats for our family dog. Could not have picked a better place.

Penthouse-Appartements am Güterbahnhof is situated in the Herdern district of Freiburg im Breisgau, 2.1 km from the old town. Colmar is 37 km from the property. The apartment was immaculate and so bright and spacious. Comfortable beds, a nice space to socialize in. Enormous bathroom! Downstairs was a bakery which was super! A ten minute stroll to the tram and 15 mins to Freiburg city centre.

Great environment, facilities, and breakfast. The staff was very nice and was kind enough to hold on to our luggage while we went to the black forest. If I ever get to visit again, this will be my first stop.
