Catherine and her Daughter have opened their home to strangers as they love to meet New people and are, like me, travellers at heart. The whole house is (air)travel themed and I spent an incredible lovely night with my host not only opening the door but her whole life to me. Obviously this was in no way obtrusive but left to my own choice in accepting the invitation! I came as a stranger and parted as a friend- and will most certainly be back ; )) Merci.....

The Nash Airport Hotel is located in Cointrin, a 10-minute drive from the centre of Geneva. Friendly, organised and clean place to stay even for one night with the family, just nearby the airport and ready for a morning flight after a very good night and quality sleep. Quiet rooms and very comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was very friendly and helpful and in 5 minutes they helped us with a baby cot bed for our little girl which came also with a little toy with her duvet set. This was not greed in advance so it made me a very settled mommy and for baby a great night sleep. Thank you Nash Airport Hotel :)

The staff made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It is unbelievable how sweet they were. The check-in process was very quick and easy. Couldn’t get the opportunity to tour Geneva because I was only given limited stay and as a law abiding person, I had to check out within the limited period. I would have to loved to go shopping and to visit some tonic sites as well bus is okay. Their public bus system is extremely efficient, timely and spacious. Unfortunately, I’m unable to comment about their culture, friendliness and scenery because I could not get the opportunity to tour and experience Geneva as much as I would have loved.
Besides proving more comfort at lower prices than Geneve, the Ferney-Voltaire is always revoking thoughts about life of the great philosopher and poet as well as providing interesting views of the rural France.
Small village. Nearby Ferney Voltaire is better small town. Prevessin had 1 good french food restaurant (PATINE ) where you can also just get drinks and only 100 m walk from Premiere classe hotel. Also further restaurants choice and large supermarket on a modern (edge of town shopping/eating) complex with plenty of parking about 1/2 km away.
Worth a day or half day to see the main sites, Geneva is perhaps a bit thin on the ground on major tourist attractions for such a famous name but is a pleasant place to wander, especially in the sunshine, and a great base for exploring this end of Switzerland and neighbouring France.
Currently the area feels like a building site (June 2023). It’s is very dusty at times and the pavement on the walk to the hotel was full of rubble, which wasn’t easy to navigate through with a suitcase on wheels. There is a lot of building work going on just outside the centre of town and it can be noisy for hotel guests
Everything would have been perfect except for the faulty air-conditioning. I suggest you check regularly to make sure that all amenities are in order before renting out the rooms. We had an over-all nice stay
