The host was super friendly and provided cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, sugar, salt, some snacks, bottled water, and sugar, and even gave me some coins as I had no cash. You can use the washing machine too but need to check with the host about the cleaning schedule.

You also get a free travel card which takes you into Bern centre, which is 16 minutes on the bus. We stayed in the new block which has great air conditioning. Also, they have a variety of pillows for you to choose from, which was a nice touch. Overall an extremely relaxing hotel which made our holiday perfect. Very sad to leave, but can’t wait to return next year!

Senevita Residenz Multengut Muri is situated in Muri, 4 km from the centre of Bern. The spacious rental unit had all the amenities of home including free parking. Location was a short 15 - 20 minute drive to Old Town Bern with an optional public transit close by. The fully stocked Coop market was just a short walk as were dining options.
