Centrally located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, it’s within walking distance from Glória Subway Station and Municipal Theatre. Copacabana Beach is 10 minutes by car. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The co-working space was great for doing things on my laptop during my stay. The single room I booked was small, but it had everything you needed and there was room at the restaurant and office area to spread out in.

Located in Rio de Janeiro centre, Itajubá Hotel offers free Wi-Fi in public areas, air-conditioned rooms and 24-hour front desk service. I liked the place. Reminder of the better days of Rio. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was polite. Checking in early and leaving luggage is extra but the prices are ok. The down side was the bed comfort and the internet that was freaquently breaking up. I def recommend staying in these hotels in the center for those who want to get a glimpse what Rio was like in its better, more sophisticated days before the city started suffocating in crime swage water and corruption.
