Located in Kempsey and within 46 km of Port Macquarie Regional Stadium, Great Northern Hotel features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. We came in on Monday and had the 2-for-1 deal at the cafe :D The food was exceptional! It really made me wish we'd lived in Kempsey~ on top of that, the staff was helpful and cheerful (: I really felt very well-taken care of. Facilities were clean and well-kept too.

Lots of attention to little things- for the first time in 20 years of travelling a motel provides a water filling jug for the kettle. THAT little thought for the guest goes a very long way. I am impressed. Also, travelling with an oversized vehicle the staff assisted with parking on site. Again, high care factor.

Situated in Kempsey, 41 km from Port Macquarie Regional Stadium, Kempsey Powerhouse Motel features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue... The room was really nice. There was fresh milk which is always a huge plus, they even had hot chocolate sachets available. That was really nice especially when you don't drink tea or coffee. Hot chocolate is very rarely supplied. I thought this place was absolutely great and will definitely stay there again.

Good food and service. It's been a long time since finding the above when traveling. It wasn't fancy, quite basic but extremely good & hospitable.

QUIET PROPERTY BY THE RIVER is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Kempsey, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The property features river and garden views. The kindness of the host and the possibility to wash my clothes after a long trip. It was a very nice place that felt very cozy
