About 20 minutes from Hobart Airport, the Kangaroo House of Mount Rumney Escapes is a secluded wonderful hideout with a lovely view of Hobart. We like the comfy beds, the complete kitchen, the very clean bathroom, and the wallabies and echidna immediately outside. The very kind host was reachable even late at night.

We ate breakfast watching three wallabies infront of our house. We were visited in the carpark by goats, wallabies & even a little possum in the evening. We saw more wildlife in their natural environment than anywhere else in Tasmania.
