Friendly and helpful service from all staff especially one of the managers who voluntarily drove us to the airport. Delicious meals in the on-site restaurant. Excellent accommodation!!

Michele was an increasingly host; helpful, friendly and did everything to make us feel at home. She even left us dinner in the fridge and catered to my gluten allergy with gluten free snacks and breakfast.

Love the view from this lovely place . We had many animals ( some goats, sheep ) and wallabies and even a possum that was curious about us . The heater worked really well for the winter weather and the beds were comfortable. Only wish there were more pillows . We only stayed one night but next time would definitely stay longer because if we return to Tasmania

Mount Rumney Escapes Seaview House 1 - Possum House offers accommodations in Mount Rumney, 8.1 miles from Theatre Royal and 9.2 miles from Hobart Convention and Entertainment Centre. The views are great. The wallabies and quiet bush setting. It is on top of a mountain, I didn’t quite realise how bush and high it would be. There are 5 cabins, which are large fairly new and clean. The cabins are fairly close to each other. Had to pull the curtain that side. Heating was on. There was milk, oil and packet tea coffee sugar. Nothing wrong, but i didn’t realise the location and layout of the property. Also millions of wallabies on the way, And a possum came up to my glass door to look in. It’s not a big drive to Hobart, just complex on the mountain. Nice side of the city along the water.

Mount Rumney Escapes - 4 Seaview Devil House is located in Mount Rumney, just 8.1 miles from Theatre Royal and 9.2 miles from Hobart Convention and Entertainment Centre. The apartment was clean, spacious, well appointed and had a great view. Beds were comfortable, washer/dryer was a bonus and worked well. It was nice to have Netflix on the TV. Kitchen was very nice and super clean.

We stayed over night at Mount Rumney with our four year old and it was lovely and very family friendly. The place was clean and cosy, and had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and had extra warm blankets. We definitely recommend staying at Mount Rumney escapes.
An absolutely wonderful setting. A perfect place to unwind and take it easy. The opportunity to sit back and relax with a beautiful black cat who talked to you was a bonus. Calm and peaceful - it was just the right place to be after a very hectic weekend.
Really enjoyed our stay at Seven Mile Beach. Not only was the accommodation clean, tidy and well presented. The whole town was and the gardens were delightful too. Loved the beach, friendly locals and the local store was great too as was the staff. I could have easily stayed longer but was on a time schedule. Will stay again another time. I recommend this area and accomodation. Room was plentiful too.
Liked nearness to the airport, cleanliness, restaurant. Not impressed with the $5 parking, and how guests learn about it. We ate at the Travelodge restaurant, which was great. Not easy to get around, especially in peak hour. Difficult to navigate the roads and find the airport if you are unfamiliar with the roads, even with GPS.
A great place to "escape" to- a wonderful location, great accommodation and all for an affordable price. The cabin had everything you needed to self cater or you're not too far from town. The owners are really easy to communicate with and overall it was a very enjoyable stay. You do need to be mindful of the steep, gravel driveway, especially if you have a very low to the ground car!! But otherwise an awesome place to base yourself for a visit to the Hobart area! Can't wait to get back there :)
It was great, big room big bathroom, not to keen on the butter and jam , that everyone used it, I do think it should be small satchels, with the way the cOVID-19 and the world is going I think everything should be pre-packed packed and sealed. So you know it safe to eat, The couple that i’m the place we’re very happy to assist in anyway and happy to help out in anyway lovely people, Great photos on the wall nice throw rugs, A very bright and welcoming room as you walk in, just double check that when the cleaning that they have done everything put everything for the next person to use as the owners.

Great room 36..power ports at each bed and lockable storage lockers for each bed. Convenient to single combined toilet/shower rooms. Fantastic location near wharf, shopping, groceries, restaurants, and Salamanca market. Easy skybus shuttle from HBA to hostel one block away.
