Hotel in Camden ( 3.6 miles)
This English-style inn is nestled in the countryside at the bottom of the stunning Razorback Mountains, directly overlooking breathtaking views of the Camden Valley. After 30 hours of airports and airplanes from the American south to the Australian coast, we felt welcomed. A friendly Chantelle greeted us, after numerous responsive emails, and helped us get settled. The view was restful full of singing and talking birds, distant cattle in the field, and even a few kangaroos hopping about, with a friendly staff, and even a wedding in the field. Good food, good service, good three nights. Who could ask for anything more.

We stayed 5 nights specifically for a family wedding. Our room was quiet and comfortable and met our needs. It included an iron and ironing board which came in handy. The soap dispensers included hand and body cream and surprisingly shaving cream. Additional cutlery and crockery was available from the Reception. A large shopping plaza across the road could be accessed through it's car park and included a good selection of eating places and a Cole supermarket. There were a couple of Pubs within walking distance and a short drive to Camden with more shops and eating places. We would be happy to stay there again under similar circumstances as there was nothing we would want to improve on.
Camden Valley Inn was a great place to stay. An absolutely awesome venue with a great vibe. Well appointed rooms and beautiful gardens and surrounds. I was there for work but will actually come and visit with family for a weekend getaway. Loved it
Such a great pace to stay, from the moment we arrived until checkout. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, well equipped and the styling was lovely. Great bathroom and even better shower! Only criticism would be the sofa, which was like a futon, very low and not too comfy to sit on. I would suggest a small table with 2 chairs could easily be accommodated in the space, making the room even more comfortable. The Tavern is also just as lovely and the food and beverages were reasonably priced and yummy! We had a fabulous stay and will book again next time we are down that way.
The room and the bed were comfortable. Everything was very clean. I would have liked the outside lights in the grounds to be turned off at night. Our room faced the garden, which was lovely in the daytime but the outside lights were very bright and even with the block out curtains closed, a lot of light still shone in to our ground floor room. Upstairs probably would not experience this as much.
Camden is a beautiful country town, plenty of shops to wander through and lovely cafes to have a cuppa and something to eat to restaurants to have a full sit down meal. Beautiful country views. Highly recommend
I had a garden view room on the first floor, so whilst other rooms have a nice view of the surrounding fields, our balcony faced into the garden and other rooms. This was not an issue as the gardens are lovely. The room itself was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was magnificent, and the bath was big and deep. They also provided a little bath bridge with extra toiletries, so you were able to relax and stream whatever you are binging on your device. The minibar was small, but the prices were reasonable. But there were complimentary water bottles left by the bed which was a nice touch and free tea and coffee.
