It is quiet, has everything you need, and the owner very kindly gave us the opportunity to check in late at night. If we are ever in that area again, we will definitely stay in this house.

The interior walls are made of granite which makes the house fresh without the need of air conditioned. Also the house is quite spacious. The hosts had a basket with honey, cheese, and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all it is needed for a conformable stay. The location allows easy access to all hiking trails of Serra da Estrela. One of the best hiking trails starts very near the house and also gives access to a very nice river beach. If you are traveling with pets, the house is also the perfect spot.
