Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, 17 km from Longroiva Hot Springs and 42 km from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum, Casas da Barca offers air conditioning. Everything we needed was there and everything was practical and functional. The layout of the apartment is very nice and we could not have asked for more. The location is excellent. We walked for dinner in the centre every night and it is just a short stroll away.

It is the perfect place for a family stay. The house had everything we needed to cook the food, both inside and outside. It is a quite place with a fantastic view over the vineyards and the river. Our kid enjoyed the pool area, especially when the lovely donkey Nikita came by :) The territory is well kept and the staff is polite (and even easy and interesting to speak with even if you don't speak Portuguese). The host, Joaquin, was extremely kind, helpful and hospitable. The decoration of the place is great and it is equipped with whatever you need. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is heating for the colder days.

Casa da Barca offers accommodation in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, 42 km from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Longroiva Hot Springs is 17 km away. Absolutely wonderful stay at Casa do Barca. The host Bruno met us, made sure we understood the airconditioners, smart TV and all the amenities. The place is beautiful, an old stone house perfectly re-done, walking distance from everything in town, and also walking distance (if you are up for a hike, which we were) to the Museum de Coa. It's a real gem!

Set in Sabrosa, 6.1 km from Natur Waterpark and 30 km from Douro Museum, Casa Madureira - Paraíso centenário do Douro offers air conditioning. It is more then apartment, it is an experience. 250 y old stone village in the middle of the valley, with hundred year old school and old public laundry place. It feels like time is stoppped in that amazing place. Was nice to explore all around. It is only few minutes from Pinhao by car. The house was very clean, newly equipped, everything was in working condition. It was absolutely the best our stay during our trip to Portugal!

It is even better than in the pictures. The house is located in the middle of an athletic village, on the hill with grape wines and orange trees. A small church is nearby. The view can not be better. You can hear bells and roosters. We arrived late in the rainy evening. The owner was there to meet and greet us. He quickly showed us the property. We appreciated the little welcome touches like cookies and milk. No problem with the parking. And it is easy to get from the place to wineries and other local attractions.

The place consists of 2 floors and a rooftop terrace with a barbique and seating corner. One sleeping room on the ground floor with a toilet, shower and washing machine. In the first floor a seating corner, kitchen, bedroom with a toilet. A nice check-in present with coffee capsules, bread and cookies and also home made wine! Smooth communication although I spoke English and the host Portuguese. You can find free parking very close to the place. Well recommended place!
