Astral Zone Cottage is the perfect place to stay when spending a few days in Ella. Located outside of the main town and close enough that everything you want to do whilst in Ella is accessible. The property is located 10 minutes from the train tracks where you can then pick up trails to Ella’s Rock in one direction and Ella town and nine arch bridge in the other. The host, Maduranga, is super helpful, organising really reasonable tasty dinners and tuk tuks. He is really friendly but also respectful of privacy. Would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. The view is also great.

A recently renovated property, Ella Silloam is located in Ella near Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Little Adam's Peak and Ella Spice Garden. A fabulous host, very warm and friendly - Priyanga was very helpful organising drivers and providing suggestions and local information of which places to visit and when. The location was great and breakfast tasty, varied and plentiful.

Featuring an infinity pool and views of mountain, Tea Cabins is a recently renovated villa located in Ella, 3.4 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. EVERY DETAIL. I felt like I was living a dream staying here. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and cozy. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to insure your stay is perfect.

From the hut you have the most beautiful view at the waterfall and a train bridge. If you don't want to stay in the crowded and noisy Ella town, this is perfect. The owner takes you on a fantastic hike to Ella Rock and the waterfall. This place was, by far, my best place to stay in Sri Lanka. The food was delicious and the owners very, very kind. The hut is spacious, good bed, big bathroom. Sleeping with the sound of the waterfall is so relaxing.

With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio.... Very comfortable separate house with a great view and all facilities. It is a perfect place to relax on weekends, enjoy the silence and beautiful nature. The owner is very nice and helpful young lady and she cooked for us tasty breakfasts. We totally felt at home in this place.

From the moment you arrive, it’s as if you step into an alternative reality - one that encompasses your entire spirit, soul, and mind. Run by an extremely sweet and caring older couple (who we now consider family), Crystal Bungalow is interesting, entertaining, and simply peaceful to stay at. Outside you are presented with lush and well cared for gardens (with lots of birds). Inside, everywhere you turn there is a new thing to discover (it’s a big like living in a beautiful and interesting museum). You are living on a small tea plantation in a colonial era home. The room was comfortable, bed very nice, water very hot. But perhaps the most meaningful thing is the connections we made to the owners. They care for you and they help you. We’ll be back!
