We stayed for a week at the end of November as a group of 4 adults and a baby and were very impressed from the start. The hosts were so welcoming and had so thoroughly prepared the house, from turning on the heating, clean kitchenware to a cot with blanket for the little one.
The Mosel area is such a wonderful area to explore, even in November we enjoyed some good walking weather, castles and Christmas markets. The house itself is a stone’s throw away from the train station and trains come every half an hour in both the direction of Cochem and Koblenz.
As a foodie I would have to mention the smoked trout from the local Fischerei- best fish I’ve ever tasted, and the Reibekuchen at the Christmas market, made by the local hotel staff.
Would happily stay again and explore more.

The host was very friendly and eager to help. Fast service, flexible. Big selection for breakfast. The host pointed out that there are multiple options for dinner in the village, since they only had a small selection available from the kitchen during my stay. The flammkuchen were good.
The location is just great. The appartment was very clean and cozy, outside terasse is amazing for morning coffee. The village itself is really cute and nice, and very well situated to reach the main touristic attractions - Eltz castle, Cochem, Koblenz etc....
Very nice room in a cute village along the Mosel. Nice breakfast buffet with good choice of food and plenty to eat, included with room price. Excellent bed. Watercooker in the room with tea and coffe provided for free.

Charming older property in an attractive small village on the river, a warm and helpful welcome and a glorious sunny terrace out the back to enjoy a local Riesling. Yes the decor is not contemporary but my room was large and very comfortable. Yes there is a railway line between the inn and the river but I rather liked that. Good food and easy parking. Highly recommended

We felt very welcome and got some amazing tips from our host. She is very nice, friendly, warm and always there to help! And you still have all the privacy you need.

Spacious, modern, clean apartment in small village. It has a large balcony with beautiful views over the river Moesel. Big bathroom with strong shower, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Free parking on site. The owner of the apartment has a restaurant/take away next door and serves decent pizzas. Would highly recommend this place and will come back here in future.
Location is good for any kind of trips you want to have in Mossel valley.
15 minutes drive to the Burg Elz, plenty of wine shops and restaurant in this small village.
This hotel is the only place where you can be sure you need no cash (it is Germany, yes)
