The property is opposite the supermarket so very easy access to supplies.
The owner was very helpful when contacted and it was clear that they are people who want everyone to enjoy their stay which was lovely.
The mattress was very comfortable, the sofa bed downstairs was also very comfortable, easy to pull out and a good size.
The apartment was clean and tidy

House is in a great location, walking distance to town centre and major supermarkets. Small garden at rear is nice space. No parking at the property but space available in nearby location is fine. House and kitchen are well equipped, excellent powerful shower. The most comfortable bed I have encountered in a holiday let in a long time.

The annex was beautiful, cosy and well maintained. Karen has a folder full of things to do, see and places to eat. The bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We didn't want to leave. It's in a nice peaceful area.
Self-catering accommodation gives you the freedom and privacy that’s needed to enjoy a well-earned break. From modern apartments and luxury villas to beach huts and eco-lodges, the options are seemingly endless. Cook in your kitchen, read in the garden, or chill on the sofa and watch TV – however you choose to spend time, you’ll feel right at home.
This is a lovely self-catering apartment; very comfortable bed, newly decorated bathroom with excellent shower. The location is perfect for Pooley Bridge and activities around Ullswater: it's a short pathed walk in to Pooley Bridge. All staff were really lovely, friendly helpful with information. Bar downstairs from the apartment has great views from both inside and outside. No food in the bar but visiting food trucks on Friday and Saturday. WiFi was free and adequate for light internet usage.
The premises are very sumptuous and comfortable and the atmosphere is easy going. It's nice to be able to wander round the gardens and use the kitchen or lounge about if the weather is poor and watch a film or light the fire.
We were self catering but took the scenic little walk to Pooley Bridge one morning.
The accommodation in the cottages is first class and spacious.
The location is perfect - pretty, great scenery all around and close to Lake Ullswater and all of the amenities and conveniences of the lovely Pooley Bridge village.
Breakfast was outstanding, staff attentive and interested in us. Room was very nice, but was close to extractor fan of the kitchen which was noisy. Standard was superb though.
The house was so easy to find great parking the garden was nice the kitchen was a great size and the facilities were great apart from a few minor problems. The dinning room was beautiful and a great size. The living room was very comfortable and great to sit and talk in. All the bedrooms were nicely done and each bathroom was great with plenty of towel . Well worth the stay
Ailsa and the breakfast ladies were amazing. So friendly and genuine. Beautiful location and loved having kitchen facilities and meeting other friendly guests.
Staying in the beautiful Queen Anne House was a privilege.
The house was beautiful. All rooms en-suite and plenty of space in the house. Beds really comfy and house was very clean. Lovely dining room and kitchen well equipped. Nice large garden too. Situated in the heart of Pooley Bridge.
