The bed is large and comfortable. There is tea maker in the room. The bathroom is modernly designed. The breakfast is very good. Because I checked out early in the morning, the hotel staff prepared me a breakfast box. The hotel collaborates with a taxi company offering very good airport transfer services.

Breakfast is very tasty and extensive variety of foods. Great location to explore the island. Close to the harbour and the Cafe Molin. We were lucky to be invited to join the yearly festival that happened that weekend and to get a more in depth experience of the Faroese culture.

Staying at the Runavik Hotel was a very nice part of our trip to the Faroe Islands. We stayed for one night at first, but ended up staying for two more nights. The central location of the hotel was convenient for us, with nowhere far to go. We were also given a complimentary upgrade to the best room and although Booking didn't advertise it, breakfast was part of our stay. Everyone in the restaurant was also very nice, both the lady who took care of breakfast and the lady who served us for dinner. The breakfast deserves a special comment as it was very varied - sweet, savoury pastries, sausages, eggs, cold cuts, a wide range of cheeses, cereals etc. We can really recommend a stay in the hotel to anyone looking for comfort when travelling around the beautiful Faroe Islands.
