The location is excellent, just a few blocks away from MTR station, so anywhere is easily accessible. The hotel is clean and staffs were super friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good, they make dumplings and local delicacies when you order. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Kaohsiung!

Well located in the West District district of Taichung, Autumn Willow Hotel is situated 2.4 km from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, 3.5 km from Taichung Railway Station and 6.3 km from Fengjia Night... Staffs were polite and helpful. We were upgraded to better room when we checked in. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. To my surprise there were two pillows, one of which is feather filled and the quilt is down filled!! Towels were clean and fluffy. Buffet breakfast was the best I have ever come across under this category of hotel, good spread, fresh and tasty. There were a number of Malaysian dishes, mee goreng, nasi lemak, fried carrot cakes, etc!!

Located in Taichung, within less than 1 km of Fengjia Night Market and 5.4 km of Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, Hotel Euphemia offers a bar. Hotel euphemia was excellent - room was spacious, clean, it had a couch and three small tables, bed was soft, two pillows per person with a good comforter, and it's toilet and bath was spacious and clean. WiFi was fast enough for mobile gaming. It also provided toiletries, snacks, and drinks for free (+ alcoholic welcome drinks from the bar). The TV had streaming and local cable so we enjoyed since we got to watch their sports channels. Their staff is friendly and the location is close to the night market but far enough that it is quiet and peaceful. You can take a quick walk to mcdonald's or 7-11 if you want a fast meal. It is also close enough to the HSR station so the uber was cheap and the bus ride was short. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in taichung.

Ideally located in the Zhongzheng District district of Taipei, Hotel Resonance Taipei, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is situated 1.4 km from National Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, 1.6 km from... Breakfast was at the adjacent Starbucks, if you got up late there will be a long line. However, there are a lot of local eateries nearby, 2 7/11, and even a local grocery store. Public transport is easy to access and the hotel is lovely. Laundry is free and there are also dryers Bonus: we landed within a few hours of the massive earthquake, staff were reassuring and soon operated normally.
