It is a beautiful period property with an excellent location right in the heart of Monte Carlo. The hotel lobby is absolutely awe-inspiring and beautifully appointed; it has an old-world charm to it. Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to junior suites, which were beautiful and spacious. The staff were courteous and attentive. The French toast served at breakfast warrants a special mention since it is arguably one of the best we have had.

Hôtel de France is located less than a 10-minute walk from both the Prince’s Palace of Monaco and Port Hercules. It is entirely air-conditioned and offers modern rooms equipped with a flat-screen TV. Lovely staff and overall experience. Great value and easy to explore the city. All essentials very close by (grocery store, restaurants, shops, post office). Bus right outside -- you can ride all day for 5 Euro. Food Addict late night fast food was just steps away with great smash burger that hit the spot after a day of exploration. Good, hot shower.

Boasting a rooftop terrace offering views of the Circuit de Monaco, Fairmont Monte Carlo is a 4-star hotel set between the Mediterranean Sea and the Casino of Monte Carlo. Nice hotel, food was good and rooms nice too.
