Very pleasant rooftop terrace with a restaurant and bar, overlooking the city and the islands in the sea. Good carbonara and chocolate lava cake.

Really nice hotel, located near the water. Rooms are very nice and cozy with view to the mountains. The breakfast was really diversified and delicious.

Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. This hotel has a great location, delightful breakfast offerings, and comfortable rooms. I'm looking forward to returning and staying at this hotel again.
