Rooms are huge, very clean, very comfy beds with different pillow types.The views from the hotel are astonishing. Hotel staff was very kind and going extra mile to help.Also the manager, Mrs Miracle is such a great person. I will for sure use this hotel on all my trips to Gondar!

The property is beautiful , clean , well located , the bed was so comfortable , they have hot shower and the view from the room is BREATHTAKING. The best view of my life ( and I’ve been to 57 countries so imagine ! ) Great value for your money … if it were anywhere else in the world that hotel could charge at least 10 times more ! All The staff were absolutely lovely and they all made my staying so much more easier and comfortable . I felt safe as a female solo traveler and would recommend big time !

Birhan made all the arrangements perfectly about our transfer from the airport , the visit to the unique churches and our meals. The hospitality we had was memorable! The owner so gentle and hospitable. Definetely we recommend it for anyone that wants to visit Lalibela!

To be specific, the hotel owner and the manager are superb people as the hospitality I received from them is top notch.. The owner picked me up from the airport upon request and has been very supportive throughout my stay at Metas Hotel and spa, I would say it's worth meeting him.. The manager is friendly and caring. She made my stay feel like home to me. She arranged for me taxis to ensure I don't miss my appointment. The meals are delicious, the hotel is located in a good and safe place with a good view of the city. Wifi is perfect, reliable power, a very clean environment and spa. The hotel aides are excellent servants. I enjoyed my stay!

Close to Kana restaurant, stunning views in the garden, incredible staff, the breakfast and very close to the historical churches. They have a local guide who speaks great English and have incredible knowledge about the history. They even offered me dinner for the last night!

The hotel is clean, has hot water and good wifi - something you cant take for granted traveling here. What makes the hotel special is the host Yohannes. He goes out of his way to help you each day and has great advice. Also the staff is amazing. I got help with laundry and where to find a restaurant that didnt have crazy tourist-prices. They walked me all the way there to ensure that I found it and expected nothing in return. I was to moved by the excellent service. ALSO the breakfast is so tasty! Hotellet är rent, har varmvatten och bra wifi - något du inte kan ta för givet när du reser hit. Det som gör hotellet speciellt är värden Yohannes. Han gör allt för att hjälpa dig varje dag och har bra råd. Personalen är också fantastisk. Jag fick hjälp med tvätt och var man kan hitta en restaurang som inte hade några galna turistpriser. Beautiful views. Friendly and very helpful staff. Also well situated, literally across the road from the Palaces.
